Maidens on a Mission
Mountain Maiden was conceived for all of the “maiden’s” out there who
dare to push themselves just a bit further, who dare to explore the
unknown, who always have to push the limits beyond the horizon.
Our clothing is meant to be technical while providing a
certain amount of feminine pride to everything we make. Currently
we have various types of base layers as well as several styles of
fleece as well as various accessory items.
Our design team is currently working on more
technical styles of fleece as well as, sports bras, running and biking
shorts, rash guards for paddling and some outer shells for next winter.
Our current marketing strategy is relatively simple,
in that we are not in a rush to grow fast. We are developing the
line with plans to start building our sales force later this
summer.
In the interim we will be focusing on building some grass roots
alliances with various local outdoor affiliates. Mountain Maiden
is currently a member of the OIA (Outdoor Industry Association.)
We are also working on doing some co-op marketing with the Women’s
Wilderness Association.
We also have plans to sponsor various other regional biking, running
and paddling events later this spring and summer. Mountain
Maiden is also currently seeking semi professional and professional
“Maiden’s” who are currently looking for clothing sponsors.
